ACT I, EPISODE 5: “CORRIDOR” IS LIVE ON BANDCAMP

The sprint for survival starts now. If the last chapter was the horrifying revelation of what powers our world, Chapter 5: Corridor is the adrenaline-fueled consequence of that truth. We are no longer just soldiers; we are witnesses to a cosmic crime, and Lord Commander Ares wants us silenced.

The Story: The Great Escape

We pick up seconds after the Ghost Squad’s desperate leap from the research lab. Falck hits the deck of a maintenance bay, his shoulder dislocated and the Obsidian Guard closing in . The only way home is a high-speed sprint through the steel arteries of the NHS Manala to reach the hangar.

This Episode’s Tactical Highlights:

  • The Hijack: Watch (and hear) as Cipher doesn’t just wake up the squad’s Cores—he commandeers three Neo Helsinki machines, turning Ares’ own hardware into a defensive wall to buy us time .
  • The Vash’tai Override: Falck accesses a code he shouldn’t know, speaking the alien tongue to blow the hangar doors .
  • The Hurricane: Atmosphere vents into the black, creating a vacuum that sucks the Obsidian Guard into the void while the squad hangs on by their mag-locks .
  • The Departure: The shuttle clears the hangar, leaving the Manala silent in the stars with Ares watching from the bridge .

The Sound: A Tribute to the Foundation

As the sole producer of this work, I wanted to ground this escape in the history of the project. You’ll hear me revisit and evolve motifs from the “Orbital Assault” (FOTT I) and my track “Kessel Run.”

The Sonic Structure:

  • The Trailer Intro: A heavy-hitting, cinematic opening that captures the impact of the squad hitting the deck.
  • The Strategic Arp: The track shifts into a driving arpeggio—the “planning” phase. It’s the sound of the squad mapping the route, heart rates spiked but minds focused on the exit.
  • Guns Blazing: When we reach the hangar, the music explodes. A powerful beat and crushing bass represent the hijacked Robot Cores opening fire .
  • The Sisu Solo: The climax features a heavy metal-style guitar and synth solo. It’s the auditory representation of pure determination—the sprint up the shuttle ramp as the atmosphere screams past you .

The Schedule:

  • Today (Thursday): Chapter 5 is live on Bandcamp.
  • Tomorrow (Friday): Streaming on all platforms.
  • Next Thursday: The Act I Finale — “From Light to Shadow.”

This is my one-man show, a labor of love for everyone who grew up wanting to pilot a Titan. Thank you for supporting the journey on Bandcamp and keeping the Ghost Squad alive.

I don’t need a million streams; I need 100 people who love mecha, industrial metal, and philosophical sci-fi.

Act I is complete, the saves are up 76%, and the goal for a December Double Vinyl is officially in sight.

Thank you for being part of the Ghost Squad.

We’ve been using the preserved consciousness of an entire race as batteries for our Robot Cores.” The dark secret of the Soul Prisms is out. What do we lose when we win?

The Act I Finale, “From Light to Shadow,” is officially live. This track is the emotional peak of the uprising so far. We move from the serene, golden light of Saturn’s rings to the terrifying shadow of a planetary bombardment. I wanted to capture that exact second where relief turns to pure, cold terror as the railgun projectile hits New Helsinki. My mother, Audencia, is gone . The city is ash. Act I is over, and the war is finally personal.
