As we move toward this Thursday, the Ghost Squad is currently in freefall. We’ve just witnessed the horrifying truth of the Soul Prisms in the research lab, and the only way out was a desperate leap through a hole in the hull .
This Thursday, we hit the ground running with ACT I, EPISODE 5: “Corridor.”
The Story: The Great Escape
We pick up with Falck hitting the deck of a maintenance bay, his shoulder screaming from a fresh dislocation . The Obsidian Guard is right on their heels, and the only way home is a sprint through the bowels of the Manala to reach the hangar .
The Episode Highlights:
- The Sprint: A high-stakes race through narrow corridors with laser fire scorching the walls.
- The Hijack: In a moment of pure tech-warfare, Cipher doesn’t just activate the squad’s Cores—he commandeers three additional Neo Helsinki machines to buy them time .
- The Decompression: Falck uses a “Vash’tai” override to blow the hangar doors . Atmosphere vents into the void, creating a “hurricane of escaping air” that sucks the Obsidian Guard into space while the squad clings on with mag-locks .
- The Departure: The shuttle accelerates into the stars, leaving a silent NHS Manala—and a watching Peter Ares—in the rearview .
Producer’s Note: Motifs and Mechanical Chaos
For the production of “Corridor,” I wanted to pay homage to the foundation of this universe. You will hear familiar motifs from “Orbital Assault” (FOTT I) and my track “Kessel Run,” re-imagined for this new era of uprising.
The Sonic Structure:
- The Intro: I’ve built a heavy-hitting, trailer-style opening to capture the impact of the squad hitting the maintenance deck.
- The Transition: The track then shifts into a driving arpeggio—the “planning” phase. It’s the sound of the squad regrouping, checking displays, and Cipher mapping the route to the hangar.
- The Assault: Once they reach the hangar, it’s all guns blazing. I’ve layered a powerful beat and crushing bass to represent the Robot Cores coming online.
- The Solo: The climax features a heavy metal-style guitar and synth solo—it’s the sound of pure sisu, the determination required to sprint up a shuttle ramp while the world is literally being sucked out behind you .
The Schedule
- Thursday, April 16: Available now on Bandcamp (Act I, Episode 5).

I am a one-man show, building this universe for the fans who want their sci-fi loud, heavy, and unyielding. Thank you for supporting the project on Bandcamp and keeping the Ghost Squad moving.
Get ready to run the Corridor this Thursday.
