The Story: Waking Up in the Ruins
At the end of Act I (“From Light to Shadow”), Lord Commander Ares turned the flagship railgun upon New Helsinki, obliterating the dome and reducing a city of one million souls to molten slag.
“Among the Ashes” is the immediate sonic and emotional aftermath of that catastrophic strike. It captures Major William Falck, Ace, Terror, and Cipher standing at the crater’s edge, sifting through the burning dust of everything they fought to protect. It’s a dark, brooding, and relentlessly heavy industrial synth track driven by grief, survival, and the faint whisper of an emergency signal buried deep in the colonial vaults below.

Act II is moving forward without pause. The second single from this arc, “Igniting Shadows,” drops in two weeks on September 11, 2026, pulling back the timeline to 2036 and the night Comet Apophis first struck Earth.
