The machinery is humming, and the next phase of Fall of the Titans II is moving faster than planned.
As I announced recently, the next chapter, “Ghosts in the Machine,” officially begins on August 28th with the release of the first single, “Among the Ashes.” But I didn’t stop there. I’ve been deep in the studio, and I’m thrilled to reveal that the second single, “Igniting Shadows,” is already queued and scheduled to drop on September 11, 2026.
That means two back-to-back single releases to kick off Act II.
Returning to the Moment the World Burned
Where “Among the Ashes” explores the immediate, suffocating aftermath and survival among the ruins of New Helsinki on Mars, “Igniting Shadows” pulls the camera all the way back across space and time to Old Earth, 2036.
This track takes the listener directly into the ground zero of the cataclysm—the exact night Comet Apophis pierced the atmosphere and struck our home world. It is the sonic retelling of the night at Tähtitorninmäki hill in Neo Helsinki, where Peter Ares and Audencia Dura stood under a sky on fire before everything fell apart.
Musically, it’s heavy, atmospheric, and emotionally charged. It bridges raw analog synth nostalgia with devastating industrial low-end, capturing the heartbreak of abandonment against the backdrop of planetary extinction.
The Artwork
The artwork featured above captures that exact stillness before the storm: two silhouettes standing overlooking the city as the streak of Apophis burns through the clouds.
Mark your calendars:
- August 28, 2026: “Among the Ashes” (Single + Story Chapter 7)
- September 11, 2026: “Igniting Shadows” (Single + Story Chapter 8)
I can’t wait for you to hear what’s coming.
Stay tuned,
Millennium Falck
