The Burden of the Truth But that relief is heavy. In Room SP-101, we learned the truth: our Robot Cores are powered by the suffering of an ancient race—the Etherals. This “dark secret” changes every battle we’ve ever fought. We aren’t just pilots anymore; we are witnesses to a crime millions of years in the making.
The Day the Sky Broke The finale of this EP captures the exact second that relief turns to ash. As the “Vengeance” railgun fires, the music shifts from atmospheric beauty to dissonant industrial chaos. I wanted to channel the specific terror of seeing the target isn’t your shuttle, but your home. The fear of losing a mother, a mentor, and a city of a million souls is the final note of this volume.
